History

Speed Tribe Sakura, or STS for short, is a car club that was founded by me, Jiji, alongside a few close friends. From the beginning, the goal of STS is to encapsulate not the vehicles of the Showa Era to early Heisei Era of Japanese automotive culture, but its spirit and passion. Throughout many examples of media from this time, be it magazines, VHS tapes, or constantly surfacing personal photographs and video of owners and their vehicles, one consistency is seen across the board: fun. Laughter, jokes, the sharing of knowledge, good vibes. It sounds like a silly concept, but one that I'm proud to say has stayed consistent throughout our seven years and running within our communities. A concept we hope and wish spreads across our community, regardless of how recently you got into cars, how much you know about them, who you may be, and where you may come from, Enjoying Happy Car Life is what it's all about!

Throughout our five years in the automotive space, we've grown to have two chapters encapsulating some of the most passionate and spirited enthusiasts we know. Founded in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2018, and then the Bay Area, California in 2019, we love to show off our West Coast Love day and night. You can usually find our Vegas chapter enjoying an evening car meet or always willing to lend a hand at a garage night, talking cars while grubbing on some delicious food, ever so ready to race home on the long highways. Meanwhile over in the Bay Area, it's commonplace to see the boys caught cooking up a good meal at their Vice President Dan's house and hitting the touge in the early hours of the morning. Regardless of the circumstance, they're certainly Angels of the Night!
